Adam Yasir Arafat is a Nigerian entrepreneur from Ankpa, Kogi State, and the Founder and Chairman of Arafat Groups, a diversified Nigerian holding company with business interests across real estate, energy, trade, agriculture, healthcare, and automotive services.

Born in March 1998 in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, Adam Yasir hails from Enabo, a community within Ankpa. His early upbringing helped shape his sense of discipline, responsibility, resilience, and ambition.

He began his academic journey at Demonstration School, where he completed his primary education from 2004 to 2010, before proceeding to Demonstration Secondary School from 2011 to 2017. He later moved to Abuja, where he studied Public Health, majoring in Immunology, at Cosmopolitan University Abuja.

During his time in Abuja, Adam Yasir began to observe the growing demand for quality housing and the gap between what people needed and what was available in the real estate market. He saw an opportunity to provide reliable, well-planned homes for individuals, families, and investors who wanted trust, value, and long-term security.

This insight led him into real estate and became the foundation for Munazil Real Homes. What started as a response to a clear market need gradually grew into a larger business vision: to create a group of companies that serve practical needs, strengthen communities, and contribute to Nigeria's development.

Leadership Story

How the journey became Arafat Groups

How did his business journey begin?

Adam Yasir's first major business move came from observing a real problem in Abuja: people wanted dependable homes, but many available options did not fully meet expectations around quality, trust, planning, and long-term value. Munazil Real Homes was founded to help answer that demand.

Why did he create Arafat Groups?

Arafat Groups was created to bring his growing businesses under one strategic platform. The group reflects his belief in strategic diversification, operational discipline, community value, sustainable growth, and building a legacy of excellence that contributes to the nation's growth.

What role does family play in his story?

Adam Yasir is married to Tawa Arafat, and family remains an important part of his personal and professional journey. His elder brother, Bedomasi, is also active in Abuja's real estate sector through Zambabay. His younger brothers, Buniyamin, Abubakar Sadiq, and Mas'ud, also work with him, reflecting a shared commitment to enterprise, service, and growth.

What kind of leader is he?

His leadership style is calm, disciplined, and long-term in outlook. He believes business should do more than create profit. It should solve real problems, create opportunity, support communities, and build institutions that can remain relevant beyond one generation.
